Obtaining great Titans Tickets has always proven to be a very difficult process, with many people settling for sub-par seating far away from the action - hardly worth even going to the game! We know you want to get down close and support the Titans, and the tickets are out there, you just have to know where to look...
2007-08 Tennessee Titans
Great news for Titans fans with the free agent signing in former Colt Nick Harper. Tennessee continues to have Keith Bullock at linebacker - great news again, as he is absolutely unstoppable and racks up amazing numbers. Bullock will be paired with David Thorton - and together they should bring a heavy tackle. However, question marks remain on the offense, as the elements don't seem to have the right chemistry on the field. But they do have Vince Young - his numbers alone make the Titans contenders. Titans tickets should be exciting to have this season, as they have the potential to go either way... very bad - or great.
Previous Seasons
Tennessee Titans’ ticket holders rooted for a struggling team during the 2005-2006 season. After finishing their second straight losing season, the Titans roster, which is one of the youngest in the National Football League, will work to build on their few moments of success during this year. With young wide receivers Brandon Jones and Courtney Roby, the Titans hope to solidify their starting quarterback position and return to the glory that the franchise enjoyed during their first few years in the Tennessee.
Professional football did not arrive in Nashville until 1999. Until this date, the Titans played in Houston where the team suffered through eight seasons without a playoff appearance after their merge with the National Football League in 1970. While the team did make the postseason in the late 1970s, the team’s most impressive period came under the leadership of quarterback Warren Moon. During Moon’s tenure with the Oilers, the franchise became one of the strongest teams in the AFC and found their way to the playoffs in seven straight years. However, even Moon’s passing could not earn the team a trip to the Super Bowl. This distinction would only arrive with the team’s decision to leave Houston.
When the team first exited their initial home in Texas, they played in Memphis while waiting for a stadium to be completed in Nashville. Two average seasons with very few fans forced the team to make an early move to the Music City. When the team moved into The Coliseum, management changed the name to the Titans, and the team’s immediate success proved them to be worthy of their new title. Under quarterback Steve McNair, the team garnered a large fan base that was anxious for Titans football tickets. The crowd did not have to wait for the team’s first trip to the Super Bowl when McNair’s offense advanced to the championship during the first year in Nashville. In addition to the team’s outstanding passing game, running back Eddie George threatened opposing defenses on the ground. However, the fans witnessed one of the most heartbreaking game ending plays when the Titans’ comeback fell just one yard short against the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV.
After the Super Bowl loss, McNair proved to be one of the most resilient players in the game, battling injuries to lead the Titans to the playoffs during three of the next four years. However, after these four playoff appearances, the Titans have recently suffered through their two worst seasons in Nashville. In this off-season, head coach Jeff Fisher will search for the answer to return his team to their previous status of excellence. The franchise will gain some help from young players next season with the third overall pick in the NFL draft. Although McNair remains one of the team’s key leaders, his injury-ridden decade with the team makes some fans believe that the quarterback will retire soon. Before next season, the search will be on for a quarterback that can bring new life to Tennessee Titans tickets.
